Post Maria Water Sampling Program
A collaboration with RBC Maria Relief and Costa Salud with the purpose of providing the community with water quality information about fresh water sources during the emergency conditions caused by Hurricane Maria. These basic tests cannot guarantee any water source is safe to drink without further treatment. For your safety and to avoid public health problems, it is recommended that you acquire potable water from sources that tend to show low bacterial counts and normal parameters, and avoid swimming in contaminated water if you have cuts or lesions on your skin. We recommend boiling ALL potential drinking water (including AAA sources) for at least 2-3 minutes. Manu traditional springs have been contaminated!
